Gothic brick buildings / distribution in the Netherlands

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is one of the four distribution maps to the list of Gothic brick structures in the Netherlands :

There are a large number of brick Gothic buildings in the Netherlands , in almost all regions. The area east of the IJsselmeer connects to the brick Gothic in East Frisia in the northeast (see list and distribution map for Lower Saxony), in the southwest to the Rhenish brick Gothic, which is strongly influenced by the Netherlands (distribution map in the list). East of the province of Overijssel , the density of Gothic brick buildings is relatively thin, but there are some Gothic buildings made of sandstone or with sandstone facing. The Westphalian sandstone area with quarries on Bentheimer Berg and in the Teutoburg Forest broadcasted as far as the Netherlands. Other geographical gaps resulted from moorland areas that were only opened up in modern times.

All places in Europe with Gothic brick buildings are registered here, including less than 15% with Mediterranean brick styles.
The interactive maps are not well suited for mobile devices because the place names are not displayed there.
And the software only works up to a little over 300 location points, which requires subdivisions.
That is why there are also maps without a dialog function, created from screenshots of the interactive maps.
Where the layouts of the interactive and the non-interactive map are the same, the non-interactive map (with one exception) is linked only to the interactive map.
