The Badam ( Kazakh Бадам ) is a left tributary of the Arys in the southern Kazakh region of Turkistan .

The Badam rises on the western slope of the Ugom Mountains . It flows in a predominantly westerly direction from the mountains and through the upstream plain. It flows through the cities of Lenger and Schymkent . He picks up the Sairamsu on the right. Finally he reaches the Arys, a tributary of the Syr Darya . The Badam has a length of 141 km.
