Bae Bien-U (born May 22, 1950 in Yeosu , Jeollanam-do Province , South Korea ) is a South Korean photographer . He has been a professor of photography at the Seoul Institute of the Arts since 1981 . In his artistic work, Bae mainly deals with landscape photographs. His most popular recordings deal with the pine forest around Cheonmachong . When Barack Obama visited Seoul in 2009, the South Korean government gave him an illustrated book with Bae's work as a gift.
