Investments

The automatic lane change system is used by the international Baku – Turkey long-distance train. The track of the line west of the station has only standard gauge. For goods wagons that can be re-tracked, there is a conventional system for exchanging the bogies , in which 14 wagons can be handled at the same time. There are sidings for bogies on both sides of the hall . In container traffic , the containers are moved by a gantry crane onto freight wagons of the corresponding other gauge . The station building has a house platform and an island platform that serve two tracks.
