The station Almaty-2 ( Kazakh Алматы-2 стансасы , Russian железнодорожный вокзал Алматы-2 ) is one of two major railway stations of the Kazakh city Almaty . It is operated by the Kazakh state railway company Temir Scholy, Kazakhstan .
With 2,500 to 4,000 travelers daily, it is the most frequented train station in the city.

The station is a terminus and is located north of the city center. The orientation of the station runs in an east-west direction, with passenger train traffic only to the northeast.
The station is the 800 meters from an underground station Rajymbek Batyr of line A of the Almaty Metro with the city connected.
