The Kysak Station ( Železničná stanica Kysak ) is the station of the municipality Kysak in Slovakia . Kysak is an important rail hub in eastern Slovakia. In Kysak is railway line Košice-Žilina with the after Poland 's leading railway Kysak-Muszyna linked.
The station is located on the Pan-European Corridor No. Va ( Bratislava - Žilina - Košice - Uzhhorod - Kiev ).

The station is located southeast of the village center of Kysak on the banks of the Hornád .
history
The station was opened on September 1, 1870 with the commissioning of the Košice – Prešov line in what was then Austria-Hungary by the Kaschau-Oderberger Bahn (Ks.Od.). With the completion of the Kysak – Spišská Nová Ves line, the last part of the main line to Žilina in 1872, it became a railway junction.
The station was destroyed by fighting in December 1944.
The railway infrastructure of the station is now owned by the Železnice Slovenskej republiky (ŽSR). The trains are operated by Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (ZSSK).
