The Querfurt station lies on the railway line Merseburg-Querfurt and at the decommissioned on this section railway Röblingen am See-Vitzenburg . The former station building is listed in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 16626 as a monument .
history
The station was put into operation with the opening of the Prussian state railway Oberröblingen - Querfurt in October 1884, extended to Vitzenburg on July 1, 1904 . In 1911 the line from Merseburg was added.
Passenger traffic to Vitzenburg was stopped on December 31, 1998, the line was closed in 2003. Passenger traffic to Röblingen am See was stopped on December 13, 2003, the line to Schraplau in 2005.
In the 2020 timetable, Querfurt will be served every two hours by the RB 78 (Merseburg – Querfurt) line of the DB Regio Südost .
Reception building
The building will no longer be used by Deutsche Bahn in 2018 . It is a listed building.
Track systems
Of the formerly extensive track systems, stump track 1 on the house platform can still be used in 2018, as well as tracks 3 and 4, which offer the possibility of relocation. In the east of the station there is a siding for an agricultural and animal feed trade.
