The Salzburg Taxham Europark train station is a stop in the Taxham district of Salzburg . It is right next to the Europark shopping center on Peter-Pfenninger-Straße.
history
For the operation of the S-Bahn Salzburg , the section Freilassing-Salzburg was expanded from the 2000s and equipped with a third track. In the course of the expansion work, four new S-Bahn stations were built in Salzburg, of which the Salzburg Taxham Europark train station was the first to open on June 17, 2006.
The timetable change 2016/2017 the station to a third was O bus line connected.

The S-Bahn Salzburg serves this station with lines S2 (Straßwalchen - Salzburg - Freilassing ) and S3 (Golling-Abtenau - Schwarzach St. Veit - Salzburg - Freilassing - Bad Reichenhall ), both lines run every half hour. Sometimes it is also served by regional trains that run from Salzburg Hbf to Germany. It is also served hourly by REX trains operated by ÖBB, alternating between Braunau am Inn and Linz Hauptbahnhof .
Deutsche Bahn drives the station every two hours with a regional train line of the Südostbayernbahn to Landshut via Mühldorf (Oberbay) . With the 2018/19 timetable change, this connection will be operated every hour from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The station is also served by special trains on match days in the Red Bull Arena . The stop is an important part of the stadium's traffic concept, as the stadium is only a 10-minute walk away.
Until 2013, the station was also served hourly by trains of the Westbahn between Freilassing and Vienna Westbahnhof .
