Trilport – Bazoches railway line to Paris-Est via Triport

The railway Château-Thierry-Oulchy-Breny was a single-track , French railway line , which shut down and is completely degraded. It enabled the connection between Château-Thierry , the sub-prefecture of the Aisne department , and La Ferté-Milon , where trains from Château-Thierry always ran through to there on the Trilport – Bazoches railway line . These two stretches can be understood as a direct continuation, as the license application always referred to the "Valley of the Ourcy between Ferté-Milon and Esternay, near or through Château-Thierry and Montmirail". Together with other routes, the Chemin de fer de l'Est was granted the concession for the construction and operation of this route on December 31, 1875 .

Passenger transport on the route ended as early as May 5, 1938. From November 12, 1954, freight traffic only took place on the eight-kilometer northern section, which was henceforth classified as a branch of the Trilport – Bazoches railway line. In 1962 this section was still in the inventory. It is not known when the route was finally closed and de-dedicated . Apparently the last freight train ran on September 30, 1996 and the line was dismantled from 2001.
