The Lviv – Hrebenne line is a branch line in Ukraine . It runs from Lviv , the center of western Ukraine, in a northerly direction to Hrebenne , a border village in eastern Poland . The line, with a gauge of 1520 mm (Russian broad gauge; to Rawa-Ruska near the Polish border) or 1435 mm (European standard gauge; from Rawa-Ruska) is single-track, not electrified and the operation is carried out by the Ukrainian Railways , in Especially led the Lvivska Salisnyzja .

The railway line was opened to traffic by the local railway company Eisenbahn Lemberg – Bełżec (Tomaszów) on October 23, 1887; construction work began in 1886.

The railway company was only nationalized under Polish sovereignty in 1932, and the line has been state-owned since then.

On the Polish side, route number 69 now leads to Hrebenne, international traffic from Rawa-Ruska to Warsaw was discontinued in 2005, the rail connections in Rawa-Ruska were dismantled, so that the border route is now heavily overgrown.
