According to the 2000 census, 13,793 people live in 4,971 households and 3,782 families in the city. In the city, 29.8% are under the age of 18, 10.7% are 18 to 24, 28.5% are 25 to 44, 21.1% are 45 to 64, and 10.0% are over 65. The average age is 32. For every 100 women there are 84.6 men.
