Baldefrid Hanisch

Baldefrid Hanisch (born October 6, 1919 in Elbing , West Prussia ; † December 14, 2010 ) was a German civil engineer and professor of urban water management .

Baldefrid Hanisch studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Stuttgart from 1946 to 1950 . After earning his diploma, he earned a Master of Science degree in Sanitary Engineering at the University of Michigan in 1952 . In 1959 Hanisch received his doctorate from the TH Stuttgart.

As a senior government building officer of the Bavarian State Office for Water Supply and Water Protection , Hanisch was appointed full professor at the University of Stuttgart in 1969. He also held lectures in sanitary engineering at the Technical University of Delft from 1964 to 1992 .

The Association of Swiss Wastewater Experts (VSA) made him an honorary member in 1980. On November 27, 1987, Professor Hanisch was awarded the "First Class Cross of Merit " of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany .
