Ballerup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the municipality of Ballerup in the suburbs of the Danish capital Copenhagen . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Smørum Herred in what was then København's office . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was incorporated into the Ballerup municipality , which remained unchanged with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 , but has since been part of the Hovedstaden region .
On January 1, 2020, 14,552 of the 39,528 inhabitants of Ballerup lived in the area of the parish. In the parish are the "Skovvejskirken" and the "Ballerup Kirke".
