The Balletan is a river in France that runs in the Loir-et-Cher department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Villeny and runs mainly in a south-westerly direction through the natural landscape of Sologne . It flows away from settlements and is dammed up several times on its course to form small ponds. The river touches Montrieux-en-Sologne and flows into the Beuvron after 15.5 kilometers from the right .
