Baloise Art Prize
The Baloise Art Prize has been awarded to two young artists every year by the Baloise Group since 1999 . It promotes the artistic development of young and up-and-coming talents.
The two prizes, each endowed with CHF 30,000.00, are awarded in the Statements sector at the Art Basel art fair by a jury made up of international experts.
In addition, Baloise acquires groups of works from the winners and donates these works of art to two major European museums, currently the Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart Berlin and the MUDAM Luxembourg .
The commitment to promoting art includes prize money, purchases of works, grants for art statements and museum exhibitions by the award winners.
