The Baltar Glacier is located in the western Karakoram in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
The Baltar Glacier has a length of 19 km. It initially flows in a south-westerly direction, later in a westerly direction through the southern part of the Batura Muztagh mountain range . The southern slope of the so-called "Batura Wall" forms the nutrient area. The Baltar Glacier is framed by the mountains Batura I ( 7794 m ) and Hachindar Chhish ( 6870 m ). A right tributary glacier is the Toltar glacier . The Baltar Glacier feeds the Bola-Das , a right tributary of the Hunza .
