Bambaka (spelling variant: Bambako and Bamboko ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 386 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 349.

Bambaka is located in the Lower River Region in the Kiang Central District . The place is on the South Bank Road , Gambia's main trunk road , between Kwinella and Nema . The place is about 1.7 kilometers west of Nema.
