Bambule [ bamˈbuːlə ] is a term from the German crooks language that describes drumming with all kinds of objects inside and outside of prison cells as a form of protest practiced by prisoners . The word is derived from the originally probably African drum dance Bamboule (also Bamboula ). B. in Louisiana and Guadeloupe is known.
