Banda Senderos is a German dancehall , reggae and pop band from Essen , whose members are based in Chile, the Congo, Poland and Germany.
history
The band was founded in 2012 by Sebastián Campos-Schwermann, David Fiege and Julian Kühn. She received special attention when she won the Global Pop Hit Award of the radio station WDR Funkhaus Europa in 2014 with her single Ay nenita . The first album Mobulu was released in April 2015.
In spring 2019, the band announced the release of new singles and an album in the summer via their social media channels. The first single Mala Vena was released in April 2019 and found u. a. Hearing through airplay at the radio station WDR COSMO .
In June 2019 the band released the single Sonne in die Stadt with the Essen rap crew 257ers . The artists shot a music video together and performed together at the 37th Open Air Werden in front of almost 15,000 spectators.
style
In the music of Banda Senderos there are influences of dancehall , reggae and electronic pop elements. The lyrics of the band are multilingual. German, Spanish, English, French and Lingála are used .
