The Bangey Heights (English; Bulgarian Бангейски възвишения Bangejski waswischenija ) are a southwest-northeastern extension 12 km long, 10 km wide and in Bezden Peak up to 2400 m high mountains in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the north-central part of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains , it is bounded to the west by the Patlejna Glacier , to the northwest and northeast by the Embree Glacier and to the southeast by the Kopsis Glacier . The Chepino Saddle connects it to the southwest with the Probuda Ridge , the Panicheri Gap to the south with the Maglenik Heights .
American scientists mapped the mountain range in 1988. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2011 after the town of Bangejzi in northern Bulgaria .
