The Embree Glacier is a 30 km long glacier in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows in the north-central part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains in a north-northeast direction from the slopes of Mount Anderson and Mount Bentley , and then ends in an easterly direction opposite Mount Tegge on the east side of the Sentinel Range.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1961 after Major Henry Embree of the United States Air Force , who was involved in the construction of the South Pole Station in 1956 .
