Mount Bentley is a 4245 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 3 km north of Mount Anderson in the main ridge of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
He was discovered by the so-called Marie Byrd Land Traverse Party , a team mainly to explore the Marie Byrd Land between 1957 and 1958. This named the mountain after the American seismologist Charles Raymond Bentley (1929-2017), leader of this team and from 1957 to 1959 active on the Byrd station .
