Peter Inhoffen

Peter Inhoffen (born January 29, 1934 in Göttingen ) is a German theologian .

Life

After graduating from the Martino-Katharineum in Braunschweig in 1952, he studied law in Freiburg, Cambridge and Munich from 1952 to 1956, and theology in Freiburg and Paderborn from 1956 . Heinrich Maria Janssen ordained him as a priest on December 8, 1961 in Hildesheim . He then worked as a chaplain in St. Joseph (Hanover) . In 1969 he was in Freiburg with the theme The Bishop and his assistant district after the Second Vatican Council for a doctor of theology doctorate . In 1970 he became cathedral vicar in Hildesheim and at the same time worked in the department for structural and planning questions at the local vicariate. After he had already received a teaching position for moral theology at the Philosophical-Theological University in Fulda in 1973 , he became a full professor for moral theology in 1975 , combined with a teaching position in Christian social theory. From 1991 to 2002 he taught as a professor for moral theology at the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the Karl-Franzens- Universität Graz . He then returned to Fulda and today works in pastoral care in Lüdermünd .
