The bank building Wismarsche Strasse in Schwerin , districts Altstadt / Paulsstadt , Wismarsche Strasse 127/129 / corner Arsenalstrasse 20, is a monument in Schwerin .

The three- and four-story historical bank building from 1905 with two distinctive risalits with the baroque stepped gable , the three-story octagonal bay window at the corner with a bell dome and a characteristic corner tower with a lantern and a Welschen dome was built according to plans by Georg Roensch ( Berlin-Charlottenburg ) built for Spar-Bank Schwerin from 1889. The Weinhaus Uhle also had 1800 m² storage rooms built on two basement floors. In 1949 the Landeskreditbank Mecklenburg was located here and from around 1990 the Sparkasse Schwerin. The representative hall with its arches, the historical windows and doors and the stained glass roof is also used as an exhibition and event hall. The building was thoroughly renovated inside 1993/98 and outside from 2015 to 2018.

After 1990 a branch of the Sparkasse Schwerin was established here with u. a. the advisory center for corporate customers. In 2007 the Sparkasse Schwerin became the Sparkasse Mecklenburg-Schwerin .
