Bantscheny ( Ukrainian Банчени ; Russian Банчены} , Romanian Bănceni ) is a village in Herza district of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernivtsi with about 850 inhabitants.
Administratively, the village belongs to the district council of Horbowa . It is located south of the Prut , about 21 km southeast of Chernivtsi and 8 km northwest of the Herza Rajon center near the border with Romania .
