The Baojun E100 is a battery-powered mini car from the Baojun brand belonging to the Chinese automobile manufacturer SAIC GM Wuling .
history
The almost 2.50 meter long two-seater was initially marketed in Liuzhou from July 2017 and in other selected cities in Guangxi from February 2018 . Since June 2018 sales have taken place across China.
Technical specifications
The small car is powered by a 29 kW (39 PS) electric motor that accelerates the car to up to 100 km / h. The manufacturer stated the range at the start of sales at 155 km according to the NEDC driving cycle .
Sales figures
Due to government bonuses, the purchase price of the E100 is reduced by up to 70 percent to around 4500 euros, depending on the region. For the 200 vehicles available when pre-ordering started, over 5000 people registered in Liuzhou within a few days.
