Barış Durmaz (born May 14, 1981 in Burhaniye ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Yeni Malatyaspor .

Career

Club career

Barış Durmaz started playing club football in the youth department of Burhaniye Belediyespor and then played in the youth teams of Karaoğlanlıspor and Turgutluspor . In 2000 he received a professional contract, he played straight away as a regular player for the professionals.

After playing here for two years, he moved to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . Here, too, he was consistently active for two years and then moved to the first division club Gaziantepspor . At his new club he occasionally played a supplementary role. He stayed here for four seasons, spending the 2006/07 season on loan from Samsunspor .

At the end of the 2007/08 season he also left Gaziantepspor and played successively for Giresunspor and Adana Demirspor .

For the 2010/11 season he then moved to Elazığspor with a transfer fee and celebrated with this club at the end of his first season the championship of the TFF 2nd Lig and thus direct promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . In his second year he came as a supplementary player only to a few missions. On the penultimate matchday, they made the safe promotion to the Süper Lig .

For the 2012/13 season he moved to third division Yeni Malatyaspor.
