Barbara Hindahl (* 1960 in Rheinhausen in the Ruhr area ) is a German artist and lecturer . She lives in Mannheim and teaches at the Hanover University of Design .

Life

After finishing school, Barbara Hindahl studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe .

From 2005 to 2012 Hindahl taught at the Free Art Academy in Mannheim . Since 2012 she has been teaching at the Institute for Media, Information and Design at the University of Design in Hanover.

In 2010, Barbara Hindahl was awarded the Helene Hecht Prize of the City of Mannheim. In 2016 she received the Mannheim Art Prize from the Heinrich Vetter Foundation .
