Barbara Lechner (graphic designer)
Barbara Lechner (born March 10, 1942 ; † November 4, 2003 in Greiz ) was a German graphic artist and illustrator .
Life
Barbara Lechner studied art education at the Pedagogical Institute for Art Education in Erfurt from 1962 to 1963. From 1963 to 1968 she worked as an art teacher , commercial artist and urban planner. From 1968 to 1973 she studied with Werner Tübke , Rolf Kuhrt , Karl-Georg Hirsch and Hans Mayer-Foreyt at the Leipzig College of Graphics and Book Art . After that she worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator in Leipzig and Gera until her death . Barbara Lechner has had numerous solo exhibitions and participations in exhibitions at home and abroad.
