Barbara Nitruch

Barbara Nitruch (born May 28, 1947 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 2011 to 2015 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Nitruch trained as an educator and studied social pedagogy . After she attained the general university entrance qualification via the second educational path in 1973, she received additional training as a specialist in child protection. From 1987 to 2007 she ran a day care center in Hamburg - Barmbek .

In 1986 Nitruch became a member of the SPD, where she was chairwoman of the Groß Borstel district . From 1992 to 2008 and from March to June 2011 she was a member of the Hamburg North District Assembly . On June 24, 2011, she entered the 20th Hamburg parliament as a replacement for Karl Schwinke . In the 2015 state elections, she ran for 36th place on the SPD state list, but did not win a mandate.
