Bardakçı ( Aramaic Botê , Kurdish Batê ) is a village in the Midyat district of the Turkish province of Mardin . Bardakçı is located about 81 km northeast of the provincial capital Mardin and 15 km northeast of Midyat. According to the last census, Bardakçı had 241 inhabitants (as of December 2009). The population consists of Kurds . Originally the city was mostly inhabited by Arameans .

Bardakçı was called Bati before it was renamed. This name is also registered in the land register and was used as an alternative name in the 1965 census.
