Barium telluride is an inorganic chemical compound of barium from the group of tellurides . In addition to this, two further barium tellurides are known: barium digelluride BaTe 2 and barium tritelluride BaTe 3 .

Extraction and presentation

Barium telluride can be obtained by reacting barium with tellurium .

Representation by reducing barium tellurate is also possible .
