The Barnett Glacier is a glacier in the Anare Mountains in northern Victoria Land . It flows eastward along the south side of Tapsell Foreland into Smith Inlet on the Pennell Coast .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it by survey work and using aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1960 and 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after Donald C. Barnett, who served as a member of the United States Antarctic Research Program team between 1962 and carried out geodetic surveys in 1963 in the area between Cape Hallett and the Wilson Hills and from the base of Beardmore Glacier to the Horlick Mountains .
