Barrio de San Pedro is a Spanish town in the province of Palencia in the autonomous community of Castile and León . Barrio de San Pedro has belonged to the municipality of Aguilar de Campoo since the late 1970s . The place, near the reservoir of Aguilar de Campoo, is ten kilometers west of the main town of the municipality and can be reached via the P-2132 road. The formerly independent municipality (municipio) Barrio de San Pedro included the places Barrio de Santa María , Foldada , Frontada , Quintanilla de la Berzosa and Vallespinoso de Aguilar , which also became independent municipalities in the 19th and 20th centuries.
