The Bartholomew River is an approximately 52 km long left tributary of the Southwest Miramichi River in the Canadian province of New Brunswick .
River course
The Bartholomew River is formed at the confluence of the North Branch and South Branch Bartholomew River . It flows in a predominantly east-northeast direction to Blackville , where it flows into the Southwest Miramichi River. The course of the river is in southwest Northumberland County . The Dungarvon River runs further north and the Southwest Miramichi River flows further south. The 396 km² catchment area of the Bartholomew River is mainly forested.
The Atlantic salmon is found in the river.
