The Baulu ( Portuguese Rio Baulu ) is an East Timorese river in the Maubara administrative office ( Liquiçá municipality ). Like most of the smaller rivers in North Timor , the Marae falls dry outside of the rainy season.

The river has its source in the border area between the Sucos Gugleur and Vatuboro . It follows the border to the north. From the east, the Paroho , which rises in Gugleur, flows into the Baulu before it finally flows into the Sawu Sea near the village of Dair .
