Be × Boy ( Japanese 月刊 マ ガ ジ ン ビ ー ボ ー イ , Gekkan Magajin Bībōi ) is a Japanese manga magazine from Libre Publishing that is dedicated to stories about love between men and is aimed at a female readership. It has been published since 1993 - initially by Biblos and, since its bankruptcy in 2006, by the successor publisher. In the course of time, several offshoots of Be × Boy , which is therefore also called Be × Boy magazine , were created: the bimonthly short story magazine Be -Boy Gold , the anthologies Be-Boy Zip and Be-Boy Love and the prose magazine Shōsetsu b-Boy . In the mid-2000s, Jason Thompson called it the most popular magazine in its genre. In 2017, an edition costs 600 yen (just under 5 euros ).
