Beate Krais (born January 4, 1944 in Leipzig ) is a German sociologist .

Life

After graduating from high school (1963) in Biberach an der Riss , Krais studied sociology with minor subjects in psychology , political science and educational science at the University of Tübingen and at the Free University of Berlin .
