Beatrice Kessler

Beatrice Kessler (born September 19, 1949 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actress .

Life

After secondary school, she received her artistic training at the Zurich Drama School . In Neuwied at the Landesbühne Rheinland-Pfalz there and at the Städtebundtheater Hof (Bavaria) she had her first stage appearances from 1970 to 1974. She played Lavinia in Eugene O'Neill's Mourning Electra , Eboli in Don Carlos , Ariel in The Tempest and Judith in George Bernhard Shaw's The Devil's Student .

Since 1975 she has worked mainly for film and television. Kessler was best known for Swiss productions such as Die Schweizermacher , where she played a Yugoslav dancer who grew up in Switzerland. In the west shines! (1982) she becomes involved in the inner-German conflict as an opponent of Armin Mueller-Stahl . In 1985 she played a leading role on the side of Robert Atzorn in the six-part television movie Happy Divorce . Beatrice Kessler later received permanent roles in several series such as Dr. Marion Fabian in Schlosshotel Orth . She also appeared in episodes of well-known crime series such as Tatort and Detective Agency Roth .
