Beatrix of Bavaria (1403–1447)
Beatrix of Bavaria (* 1403 ; † March 12, 1447 in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz ) was a Bavarian nobleman from the Wittelsbach family .
Beatrix was the second child and the eldest daughter of Duke Ernst of Bavaria-Munich and his wife Elisabetta Visconti . In 1424 she married Count Hermann III. von Cilli , after his death in 1426 Count Palatine Johann von Pfalz-Neumarkt . Both marriages remained childless.
The relationship of her older brother Albrecht III. to Agnes Bernauer Beatrix faced critical. She died in 1447 and was buried in the Gnadenberg monastery near Neumarkt , which Johann had donated together with his first wife Katharina von Pommern-Stolp .
