Bedois is an East Timorese place and Aldeia in the east of the municipality of Dili . In 2015 Aldeia had 671 members. The place name means “stinking water” translated from Tetum .

Bedois is located in Suco Camea ( Administrative Office of Cristo Rei ), east of the center of the state capital Dili . Despite its proximity to the coast, Bedois is already at an altitude of 313  m .

Buildings and facilities

In Bedois there is a cave from the Japanese occupation and the parish church of Santa Teresinha do Menino Jesus de Bedois, built in 1998 . A preschool is located in the parish hall. There are also the primary schools Escola Primaria Sabracalaran and Escola Primaria Bedois, a secondary school .
