Beethovenstrasse 16 (Mönchengladbach)
The residential building Beethovenstraße 16 is located in the Am Wasserturm district in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
The house was built in 1913. It was entered under No. B 150 on March 28, 1995 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

In the outskirts of the villa district south of the colorful garden there is a two-storey plastered building on a rectangular floor plan with a lofty mansard and a high basement . Horizontal stressed by plinth, Sohlbank- and far vorkragendes Traufgesims with Konsolimitation, where the reduced width of the Zwerchhauses with Balkenkopf Imitation equivalent. Symmetrical façade structure with two equally wide window axes and a wide dwelling. The window axes of the basement and raised ground floor are set back and framed in plaster in such a way that a division of the facade is suggested.
Window shape and size varying by floor. In the basement two barred, small vertical rectangles; the window openings on the mezzanine floor are three-part and have sills. The windows on the upper floor are narrower, each side framed by plastering fields (similar to a shutters) and connected by a sill cornice . The two small window of Zwerchhauses are equipped with shutters provided. The entrance to the house on the left is framed with a round arched pediment on deep fluted pillars. A girl's head, with which a figurative relief (depicting a putto or shepherd ) corresponds within a medallion in the right section of the building, is a sculptural ornament in the gable field .
