Belhe Zaimoğlu (* 1968 in Berlin ), sometimes also Belel Zaimoglu or Belhe Zaimoglu , is a German theater and film actress .

Life

Zaimoğlu, whose parents came to Germany from Turkey ( Bolu ) as guest workers, was born in Berlin. The younger sister of the writer Feridun Zaimoglu is mainly active as a theater actress in the multicultural theater scene in Berlin. But she also played under Neco Çelik am Hebbel am Ufer ( Romeo and Juliet ). In 2008 she had one of the leading roles in the world premiere of LOVE The Most Beautiful Story at the Berlin Tribuene - directed by the author Alexej Schipenko . In a later review, Katrin Pauly from the Berliner Morgenpost highlighted Zaimoglu's portrayal of Inés de Castro in this piece, which the press discussed very differently, as “excellent”. In the film and television sector, Zaimoglu has often played in films by Turkish directors in Germany.
