Belinda Jane Bauer (born June 13, 1950 ) is an Australian former actress .

Life

Belinda Bauer first worked as a ballet dancer and model in New York . She had her first feature film appearance in 1979 on the side of Jeff Bridges in The Ringer . Immediately afterwards she played again with Bridges in the Philadelphia Clan . This was followed by leading roles in the fantasy film The Magic Arch and in Timerider - The Adventure of Lyle Swann . In 1983 she had a supporting role in Flashdance and the title role in the television production The Murders of Dorian Gray based on Oscar Wilde . The following year she was in theSee pilot double episode of the television series Airwolf and in the female lead of Delilah in the Bible adaptation Samson and Delilah , but then her film career came to a standstill. She had a tiny role as a mud catcher in Weird Al Yankovic's film parody UHF - Broadcasters with Limited Hope .

In the 1990s she still had a few guest appearances in television series such as Murder is Her Hobby and Palm Beach Duo, as well as supporting roles in films such as RoboCop 2 . After Poison Ivy II , she ended her film career.
