On January 1, 2016, the municipality of Belleville-sur-Mer merged with 17 other municipalities to form the Commune nouvelle Petit-Caux. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Belleville-sur-Mer belonged to the Arrondissement Dieppe and the canton Dieppe-2 .
