Belmonte ( Asturian Balmonte ) is a parroquia and a place in the municipality of Belmonte de Miranda in the Autonomous Region of Asturias in northern Spain .
Belmonte is also the administrative seat of the municipality of the same name. The 628 inhabitants (2011) live in 23 villages on an area of ​​32.52 km². The Río Pigueña crosses the Parroquia.
