Anders Björck (born September 19, 1944 in Nässjö , Jönköpings län ) is a Swedish politician of the Moderata samlingspartiet .
Life
Björck was President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 1989 to 1991 . From 1991 to 1994 Björck was Minister of Defense in Sweden as the successor to Roine Carlsson . From 1994 to 2002 Björck was Vice Speaker of the Swedish Parliament . From 2003 to 2009 Björck was Landshövding from Uppsala County . Björck lives in Stockholm .
