Ben chaplin
Ben Chaplin (* as Benedict Greenwood on July 31, 1970 ; according to other sources 1969 in London ) is a British actor .
Life and accomplishments
Chaplin graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama . He made his debut as an actor in 1992, but was only thanks to his role in the BBC - television series Game On (1995) known. Chaplin starred in the film Lies Have Long Legs (1996) alongside Uma Thurman and Janeane Garofalo , in the film Der schmale Grat (1998) alongside Sean Penn , Adrien Brody and James Caviezel, and in the film Birthday Girl - Bride to Order (2001) alongside Nicole Kidman , in the movie Murder According to a Plan (2002) alongside Sandra Bullock .
Chaplin has also appeared in a number of plays such as This Is How It Goes by Neil LaBute . In 2004 he was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in The Retreat from Moscow . He was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for his role in The Glass Menagerie .
