Ben Cotton

Ben Cotton (born July 26, 1975 in Edmonton , Alberta ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Cotton studied for two years at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York with Larry Moss, Cameron Thor and Ben Ratner, among others. He attended auditioning workshops with John Aiello, Christian Kaplan and Lisa Mionie. After numerous supporting roles in film and television starting in 1999, he succeeded in playing Dr. Kavanagh in the TV series Stargate Atlantis The Breakthrough. From 2010 to 2011 he was seen in the television series Hellcats in a leading role.
