Ben Delay (* 17th November 1976 in Lindlar ; bourgeois: Oliver Schmidt) is a German House - DJ , producer , remixer and label owner who. He is the owner of the house music label Sugarland Records .

Life

Ben Delay works as a DJ, producer, remixer and label owner. His remix for Bob Sinclars “I Feel For You” (2013) made him famous. He is the producer of the singles "I never felt so right" and Sean Finn and Tinka "Summer Days" (Ben Delay Remix), the best-selling single of 2015 in Bulgaria and Turkey.

His single "I never felt so right" (on EDX label Enormous Tunes) initially stayed in the Beatport Top100 for four months . It reached number 1 in Russia and Bulgaria. In Greece it was among the TOP 20. It was number 72 in the Shazam charts worldwide and received more than 10 million views on Youtube. The successor "The Boy is mine" (Nurvous Records, New York) entered the TOP20 on Beatport with all three mixes, reached number 2 and stayed there for almost six months. It was recorded by Hedkandi / Ministry of Sound for a worldwide re-release.

In recent years, Ben Delay has worked on numerous remix programs - for example for Bob Sinclar , Sharam Jey , Vanilla Ace, Roger Sanchez , Sean Finn, Milk and Sugar , DJ Tonka , DJ PP, Todd Terry , Jerome Robins, Ron Carroll , Africanism, Wally Lopez, Stonebridge.

He is the owner of Sugarland Records, an independent house label.

His productions and remixes can be found on labels such as Toolroom, Spinnin , Enormous Tunes, Milk & Sugar , No Definition, Nervous Records, Weplay, Hedkandi etc.
